Phila Dlozi Unplugged!

Phila Dlozi is a vibrant and extremely gifted, Johannesburg based, Afro Jazz/Soul singer hailing from a small village called kwaSokhulu near Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. His love for music was born out of the serenading voices from his hometown.

With his music, Phila Dlozi delicately addresses the whole spectrum of life, from happy unions to depressions including heartbreaks and everything in between. He believes he is a messenger who was given this gift to help people on this journey called life. It’s a sweet and sour affair that aims at celebrating the good times and comforting during times of hardships. He believes music is the greatest heritage one can leave for future generations to come. He is a very spiritual young man who seeks to share the wisdom of his ancestors and culture, through his music, with the world.

In the Hidden Spaces event, we will see him in a stripped down and intimate setting that promises to bring healing to this audience and allow us a window into the power of his story telling. This is an intimate event and tickets are limited.
